Captain William Lucas and Robert Lucas House

The Captain William Lucas and Robert Lucas House, also known as Linden Spring, is a historic stone house located near Shepherdstown in Jefferson County, West Virginia. Built around 1783 for Captain William Lucas, a soldier of the Revolutionary War, the house is notable for being the birthplace of his son, Robert Lucas, who went on to serve as Governor of Ohio and the first Territorial Governor of Iowa.
