Daneliuska huset

The Daneliuska huset, also known as the Flatiron Building, is a striking apartment and commercial building located in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. Constructed between 1898 and 1900, it features a unique wedge-shaped design, a conical tower, and a richly decorated limestone facade inspired by early French Renaissance architecture. The building is blue-marked by the City Museum of Stockholm for its high cultural-historical value. Originally built as luxurious rental apartments, it has a fascinating history, including a near-demolition in the 1960s that sparked public protest, ultimately saving the structure.
