Amertec Building

The Amertec Building, located in Hialeah, Florida, was a unique former office structure designed by architect Chayo Frank for his father's woodworking business. Notable for its organic design featuring free-form elements like exterior water flumes and curved rebar, the building underwent several transformations after its sale in 1981, including a striking repainting in orange and aqua colors. Despite its creative architecture, the building faced foreclosure in 2011 and was ultimately demolished in February 2017. It serves as a reminder of innovative design in commercial architecture.
