Estonian Knighthood House

The Estonian Knighthood House, located in the historic Toompea area of Tallinn, is a significant architectural landmark built between 1845 and 1848 in Renaissance Revival style. Originally serving as a meeting place for German nobles who ruled Estonia from the 13th century, the building has a rich history, transitioning from a noble assembly hall to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after Estonia's independence in 1920. It later housed the National Library of Estonia and showcased art collections from Kadriorg Palace. Since 2009, it has been home to the Estonian Academy of Arts.
