LeClaire Park Bandshell

The LeClaire Park Bandshell, also known as the W.D. Petersen Memorial Music Pavilion, is a historic music venue located in LeClaire Park, Davenport, Iowa. Built in 1924, it is one of the oldest band shells in Iowa and was part of a significant riverfront improvement project led by city officials. The pavilion, designed by architect Rudolph Clausen, features a unique architectural style with ornamental details and vibrant colors. It hosts various public events throughout the year, including the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival and the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival.
