2018 Waffle House shooting (Antioch)

On April 22, 2018, a gunman opened fire at the Waffle House at 3571 Lebanon Pike in the Antioch area of Nashville. Four people were killed and several others were wounded during the attack. Customer James Shaw Jr. physically disarmed the shooter, an action widely reported as preventing additional casualties.
