Kanneworff House

The Kanneworff House, located at the corner of Bredgade and Store Strandstræde in central Copenhagen, is the smallest and oldest building on Kongens Nytorv. Dating back to the 17th century, it was originally constructed before the square and Nyhavn were established. Named after Lars Kanneworff, a gentlemen's clothing retailer who owned it from 1836, the building has a rich history, having housed various notable residents and undergone several renovations. Today, it is home to the Copenhagen Amber Museum, making it a unique stop for tourists interested in history and craftsmanship.
