Gotved Institute

The Gotved Institute, located in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark, is a historic gymnastics centre established in 1898. Designed by architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint, the building is recognized as a national heritage site. Originally founded by N. H. Rasmussen, the institute has evolved under the guidance of his daughter, Helle Gotved, who introduced her own gymnastics principles in the 1940s. Today, the institute operates as a self-owning institution, having undergone significant renovations in recent years, and continues to promote gymnastics and physical education.
