Aiwan-e-Sadr

Aiwan-e-Sadr, the official residence and workplace of the President of Pakistan, is located in Islamabad's Red Zone. Constructed over 11 years and inaugurated in 1981, it features modern step pyramid architecture and is surrounded by gardens inspired by Mughal designs, complete with a zoo. The complex includes four main halls named after Pakistan's Founding Fathers. In recent years, it has embraced sustainability through the Green Presidency Initiative, becoming the world's first green presidency. While generally restricted to the public, it has opened its doors on select occasions, offering a glimpse into Pakistan's political heart.
