King's Chapel

King's Chapel was founded in 1686 and the congregation's present granite church building on Tremont Street was completed in 1754. The chapel is an architectural and historical anchor of the Beacon Hill neighborhood and retains an 18th-century interior layout with box pews. The site sits adjacent to the King's Chapel Burying Ground, one of Boston's colonial-era cemeteries.
