Gary Land Company Building

The Gary Land Company Building, also known as Gary's First Town Hall, is a historic site in Gary, Indiana, built in 1906. This 1+1⁄2-story structure has served multiple purposes, including city hall, post office, and school, before being converted into a residence in 1909. It was relocated in 1956 and now functions as a historical museum and visitor's bureau, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers interested in the early history of Gary. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
