Hood–Anderson Farm

The Hood–Anderson Farm, located in Eagle Rock, Wake County, North Carolina, is a historic site featuring a main house built around 1839 in a transitional Federal/Greek Revival style. The property includes a variety of structures such as a general store/post office from 1854, a one-room dwelling, a two-room tenant/slave house, a barn from 1912, and several outbuildings. Visitors can explore the beautifully preserved main house with its large porch supported by Tuscan columns, as well as the unique general store, which is the only antebellum store building still standing in the county.
