Overholser Mansion ghost lore

The Overholser Mansion, built by Henry Overholser in 1903 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is frequently cited in Oklahoma City ghost stories. The Queen Anne–style house is included on local ghost tours and visitors and docents have reported occasional unexplained sights and sounds in recountings of the site. These accounts are treated as folklore and are disputed or unverified by empirical evidence.
