Huff House

The Huff House, once the oldest house in Atlanta, was built in the mid-1850s by Jeremiah Huff and served as the family home of memoirist Sara Huff. Located in Blandtown, it overlooked the historic Battle of Peachtree Creek. The house, made of pine and brick, was notable for its architectural significance and was considered one of the finest residences in pre-Civil War Atlanta. Unfortunately, it was demolished in 1954 to make way for a factory, which was later replaced by a residential development. The site now reflects a blend of Atlanta's rich history and modern living.
