Dom Tower of Utrecht

The Dom Tower, standing at 112.32 meters, is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands and a prominent symbol of Utrecht. Built between 1321 and 1382 as part of St. Martin's Cathedral, it became freestanding after the nave collapsed in 1674. The tower features a unique design without visible buttresses and houses a remarkable carillon with 50 bells, including the largest medieval bell in the country. Visitors can climb 465 steps for panoramic views, and the tower serves as a venue for weddings.
