Masonic Temple (Philadelphia)

The Philadelphia Masonic Temple, constructed between 1868 and 1873 and expanded thereafter, is a monumental masonry building on North Broad Street noted for its richly appointed ritual rooms and heavy stone construction. The temple was built to house the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and remains a functioning Masonic complex with nearly intact late-19th-century interior finishes and infrastructure for fraternal activities.
