Southampton Terminus railway station

Southampton Terminus railway station, operational from 1840 to 1966, was a key transport hub for the Port of Southampton and the city center. Designed by Sir William Tite in the Italianate style, it featured a grand hotel, the South Western Hotel, which hosted notable figures like Winston Churchill during WWII. The station played a significant role in the history of the RMS Titanic, serving many of its first-class passengers.
