Letitia Street House

The Letitia Street House is a historic 18th-century residence located in West Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, originally built around 1713. Once thought to be the city home of Pennsylvania's founder, William Penn, later research revealed he never lived there. The house was relocated in 1883 as part of a celebration for Pennsylvania's bicentennial and has undergone several restorations since. It serves as a rare example of Early Georgian architecture and was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places in 1956. Today, it functions as the headquarters for the Centennial Parkside Community Development Corporation, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers alike.
