Heard Museum

The Heard Museum was founded in 1929 by Dwight B. Heard and is dedicated to the art, culture, and history of Native Americans of the Southwest. The museum campus in central Phoenix has been expanded and remodeled over decades to house permanent collections, rotating exhibitions, and public programming. Its institutional history and buildings are closely tied to Phoenix's cultural and architectural development in the 20th century.
