Boxley Place

Boxley Place is a historic home located in Louisa, Virginia, originally built in 1860 in an Italianate/Greek Revival style. It underwent significant remodeling in 1918 by architect D. Wiley Anderson, adopting a Colonial Revival style. The two-story brick dwelling features a striking front facade with a two-story portico supported by Ionic columns and adorned with Chinese Chippendale railings. The property also includes a contributing log house and well. Boxley Place was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
