F. W. Woolworth Building (Fort Worth, Texas)

The F.W. Woolworth Building, located in the vibrant Sundance Square of downtown Fort Worth, Texas, is a historic site that once served as a retail outlet for the F. W. Woolworth Company from 1926 until 1990. Designed by architects Wiley G. Clarkson and James T. Taylor, the building features a striking Classical Revival style with an intricate frieze. Although intended to be ten stories tall, it was ultimately constructed as a three-story structure. The building was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Today, it hosts various tenants, including a JoS. A. Bank Clothiers store, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers alike.
