Union Station Hotel - Romanesque railroad terminal converted to hotel

Nashville's Union Station opened in 1900 as a major railroad terminal designed by architect Richard Montfort in the Romanesque Revival style. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and retains its original grand lobby and architectural details. It was converted into a boutique hotel in the 1980s and continues to operate as a hotel and event venue, preserving the original station's public spaces.
