Hanner Fieldhouse

Hanner Fieldhouse is a historic 4,325-seat multi-purpose arena located in Statesboro, Georgia, primarily serving as the home for Georgia Southern University's women's volleyball team. Opened in 1969, it has hosted significant events, including the Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball tournaments and notable ceremonies like fall commencements and a rally by President George W. Bush. The venue underwent renovations in 2014 and is set to transition as a new convocation center, named after alumni Jack and Ruth Ann Hill, is being constructed to accommodate larger events and sports, with an expected opening in December 2024.
