PRIZAD building

The PRIZAD building, located at 2 Obilićev venac in Belgrade, Serbia, is a significant cultural monument known for its architectural and historical value. Designed by architect Bogdan Nestorović and completed in 1939, the building showcases non-ornamental modernist architecture influenced by totalitarian regimes and French monumentalism. Originally constructed for the Privileged export company, it played a vital role in the economy during a tumultuous pre-war period. The building's strategic position overlooking the Sava River enhances its prominence. After World War II, it housed important institutions such as OZNA and TANJUG, and features a notable sculpture of journalist Moše Pijade in its lobby, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
