Apollo 11 command module 'Columbia' on display

The Apollo 11 command module Columbia, which carried Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins to the Moon in 1969, is part of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum collection and is exhibited on the museum's National Mall campus. Columbia is one of the museum's signature spaceflight installations documenting the Apollo program. Exhibits from the museum's collection are periodically rotated or loaned, but Columbia has been displayed at the National Air and Space Museum's main building.
