C.P. Quattlebaum Office

The C.P. Quattlebaum Office is a historic building in Conway, South Carolina, originally constructed around 1860. Initially a residence, it became a law office for Johnson, Johnson, and Quattlebaum from 1876 to 1929 and also hosted the first bank in town from 1893 to 1899. The building features a distinctive front-gabled design with a hipped roof porch and is now home to the Conway Visitor Center. Notably, Cephas Perry Quattlebaum, the first mayor of Conway, owned the building, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
