King Richard's House

King Richard's House is a historic building located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, believed to have hosted Richard III during his visit in the Mediaeval period. Originally constructed as a larger hall house, it underwent significant alterations in the 16th and 18th centuries, with a notable replica bay window added in 1912. The building features stunning architectural elements, including a three-light mullioned window and 16th-century plasterwork depicting the Yorkshire rose. Today, it operates as the King Richard III Restaurant, offering visitors a unique blend of history and dining in a Grade I listed structure.
