United States Post Office–Newburyport Main

The United States Post Office–Newburyport Main is a historic post office located in Newburyport, Massachusetts, notable for its Georgian Revival architecture. Constructed between 1927 and 1928, it was the city's first purpose-built post office. The building features a striking red brick facade with three marble-trimmed round arches at its central lobby area, flanked by office wings. Designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore, it showcases a pitched hip roof at the front and a flat roof at the rear. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and is part of the Newburyport Historic District.
