William S. Simmons Plantation

The William S. Simmons Plantation, also known as the Wesley House, is a historic Greek Revival brick home located in Cave Spring, Georgia, built in the 1840s. This well-preserved house features handmade brick construction, thick plastered walls, and exquisite mid-19th century hand-painted wall treatments, particularly in the parlor. The plantation includes a traditional two-story layout with a central hall, heart pine floors, and multiple fireplaces. Notably, it houses a historic cookhouse known as the 'Cherokee Kitchen,' linked to Cherokee Indian sub-chief David Vann.
