Star-Clipper-Canfield Building and Winding Stairway

The Star-Clipper-Canfield Building and its unique exterior winding stairway are located in Traer, Iowa. This historic site features a one-of-a-kind staircase designed by E.E. Taylor and built by Burlington Iron Works, which gained national recognition by being featured on a U.S. commemorative stamp.
