Willett Hall

Willett Hall, originally known as Lancer Hall, is an academic building located in Farmville, Virginia, that once served as a multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity of 1,807. Built in 1980, it was the home court for Longwood University's basketball teams until 2023. The venue gained notable recognition when it hosted the 2016 United States vice presidential debate, following renovations to enhance its entrance and lobby. In 2019, plans were announced for a new convocation center to replace Willett Hall for basketball events, while the building will continue to function as an academic facility and support training for the teams.
