The Central Library of the University of Indonesia, located in Depok, West Java, is a striking architectural marvel designed by Denton Corker Marshall. This modern library serves as a hub for 30,000 students, featuring a unique design inspired by ancient stone steles. Its circular form integrates seamlessly with the campus landscape, featuring stone-like towers and a grass mound that houses a five-story structure. The library promotes interaction with open spaces, an amphitheater for cultural events, and sustainable practices like rainwater harvesting. Recognized with a BCI Green Design Award in 2010, it stands as a symbol of contemporary knowledge and community engagement.
