Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell) at Rice University

The Twilight Epiphany Skyspace is a permanent public artwork by James Turrell installed on the Rice University campus and opened in 2013. The work is a roofed pavilion with a rectangular oculus and programmable LED lighting that produces scheduled color-and-light ceremonies at sunrise and sunset. Rice University offers ticketed public sunrise and sunset programs for the skyspace and also makes the site available for private reservations and campus events.
