Kingsley Plantation (Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve)

Kingsley Plantation, located on Fort George Island and managed by the National Park Service, preserves an early 19th-century plantation house and site, including structures and archaeological remnants. The site is interpreted to document plantation life and the history of the enslaved people who lived and worked there, and is part of the larger Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve. Kingsley Plantation is a documented cultural and historical site that informs Jacksonville's colonial and antebellum-era heritage.
