Kelton House (Hartville, Missouri)

Kelton House, also known as the Curtis Kelton House and Pyatt House, is a historic home in Hartville, Missouri, built around 1895. This two-story Late Victorian-style dwelling incorporates elements from an earlier I-house dating back to the mid-1870s. Notably, it is situated on the battlefield of The Battle of Hartville, fought in 1863, where the 99th Illinois regiment was stationed. The property also features a contributing smokehouse and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
