Lyzohubs' Stone House

The Lyzohubs' Stone House, located in Sedniv, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine, is the oldest stone residential building on Left-Bank Ukraine, dating back to the 17th century. Built in 1690 for Yakiv Lyzohub, a member of the local nobility, this architectural monument showcases unique features such as Gothic windows and decorative elements added in the 19th century. The house has a rich history, including a visit from the famous poet Taras Shevchenko and significant damage during World War II, followed by restoration efforts in 1967 and 2001.
