Buck-Mercer House

The Buck-Mercer House, located on Waynesburg Road in Pulaski County, Kentucky, is a historic structure dating back to around 1810. Originally built as a single pen log house, it features a south pen with distinctive half-dovetail notching and a limestone chimney. In 1858, a second pen was added, creating a unique double pen dogtrot design. This house is notable for being the only surviving example of its kind in the county, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture.
