Asian Art Museum - Civic Center collection

The Asian Art Museum at 200 Larkin Street moved into its current Civic Center building in 2003 after relocating from Golden Gate Park. It houses one of the most comprehensive collections of Asian art in the world, with thousands of objects spanning millennia and multiple regions. The museum presents rotating exhibitions, public programs, and educational outreach that are regularly attended by San Francisco residents and school groups.
