Charles Seney House

The Charles Seney House, also known as the Van Heel Residence, is a historic building in Mason City, Iowa, designed by local architect Einar Broaten and constructed by Norwegian immigrant Sivert Rivedal. Completed in 1913, this two-story residence showcases the unique Mason City variant of the Prairie School architectural style, featuring stucco over corbelled masonry for striking wall panels. Recognized for its historical significance, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
