Guardian Building's tucked-away banking vaults and private offices

The Guardian Building, an Art Deco landmark completed in 1929, contains an elaborately tiled banking lobby and multiple vaults and private office spaces that historically served banking clients and are not part of general visitor circulation. Its polychrome interior and secured former banking areas are focal points on architectural tours, but many back-of-house spaces remain reserved for tenants and bank operations. The building is commonly nicknamed the 'Cathedral of Finance' due to its ornate interior and original banking functions.
