VIA 57 West

VIA 57 West, located at 625 West 57th Street in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, is a striking residential building designed by the Danish architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group. This 35-story, pyramid-shaped structure rises 467 feet and features a unique sloped façade that resembles a sailing vessel from across the Hudson River. With 709 residential units and a blend of retail space, the building integrates a green plaza and offers stunning views while minimizing traffic noise. Recognized for its innovative design, VIA 57 West has received several awards, including the Emporis Best Skyscraper design award in 2016. It also housed a movie theater that transitioned to a dine-in format in 2023, enhancing the local entertainment scene.
