Hofheinz Pavilion renovated and reopened as Fertitta Center

Hofheinz Pavilion on the University of Houston campus underwent a multi-year renovation and was renamed Fertitta Center following a major gift; the renovated arena reopened in December 2020. The venue continues to host University of Houston men's and women's basketball games. The facility's redevelopment modernized seating, player amenities, and spectator facilities while preserving the arena's role as the Cougars' home court.
