Yorick Club

The Yorick Club, founded in February 1882 by prominent young men in Lowell, Massachusetts, served as a private social club until its dissolution in 1979. Initially meeting in various homes, the club established a permanent clubhouse in a renovated boarding house in 1901, which is now Cobblestones Bar & Restaurant. The club was known for hosting notable events, including the 'Auto Carnival' and gatherings with local dignitaries. Its membership included influential figures such as politicians, architects, and business leaders, making it a significant part of Lowell's social history.
