Bluebird Garage

Located at 330–350 King's Road in Chelsea, London, the Bluebird Garage is a Grade II-listed building with a rich history dating back to its origins as an Art Deco garage complex for the Bluebird Motor Company in 1923. Once the largest garage in Europe, it featured space for 300 cars and luxurious lounges. The garage was linked to Sir Malcolm Campbell, a famous land speed record holder, who used it for his racing endeavors. After various uses, including an ambulance station and a fashion market, the building was transformed in 1997 into the Bluebird Gastrodrome by Sir Terence Conran, offering a blend of dining and shopping experiences, making it a notable destination for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and culinary innovation.
