Vinson House (Rogers, Arkansas)

The Vinson House, located at 1016 South Fourth Street in Rogers, Arkansas, is a historic single-story brick structure showcasing exquisite Stick/Eastlake architectural styling. Built in 1896, it features a unique cruciform plan, a cross-gable roof, and decorative woodwork in the gables. The front porch is adorned with intricately designed columns. E. W. Vinson, who served as the mayor of Rogers from 1932 to 1944, purchased the house in 1921. The Vinson House was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
