Col. Young House

The Col. Young House, located at 1007 SE Fifth Street in Bentonville, Arkansas, is a historic two-story brick structure built around 1873. Notable for its unique cruciform design and hip roof adorned with paired brackets, it stands out as one of the first Italianate houses in Bentonville. Unlike typical examples of its style, it does not feature a porch at its main entrance. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
