Century Tower (Chicago)

Century Tower, located at 182 West Lake Street in Chicago's Loop, is a historic condominium building originally completed in 1930. Once the tallest reinforced concrete building in the world, it showcases stunning Art Deco architecture designed by Thielbar and Fugard. The building has served various purposes over the decades, including housing multiple consulates and radio stations. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 and converted to condominiums in 2005. Notably, it was featured in the film 'Batman Begins' and boasts a lobby adorned with red marble from an ancient Roman quarry.
