The Orange Show (Jeff McKissack's folk-art environment)

The Orange Show is a hand-built folk-art environment in Houston created by Jeff McKissack beginning in 1956 as a tribute to the orange. The site features masonry structures, mosaics, and large outdoor sculptures arranged in a labyrinthine installation that blurs architecture and sculpture. The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art preserves the complex and programs exhibitions and public events on the property.
