Mandaue Presidencia

The Mandaue City Hall, known as Mandaue Presidencia, is a striking blend of Neo-Grec and Art Deco architecture located in the heart of Mandaue, Philippines. Inaugurated on September 12, 1937, it originally served as the office for the city's mayor during the Commonwealth era. The building has a rich history, having been repurposed as a garrison by Japanese forces during World War II. A significant renovation in 1975 expanded the structure, transforming its original L shape into an E-formed layout, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural evolution and local history.
