Frederic C. Hamilton Building (Denver Art Museum)

The Frederic C. Hamilton Building is an angular addition to the Denver Art Museum designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and opened in 2006. The building's sharp, shard-like geometry and contemporary façade were intended to contrast with the museum's earlier Gio Ponti-designed North Building and reference the nearby Rocky Mountains. The Hamilton Building houses galleries and public spaces as part of the Denver Art Museum complex.
